However, the standard rooms are more spacious, while the cabanas have larger balconies which give a more intimate and secluded feeling.

The guests, mostly British, and increasingly on all-inclusive holidays, are encouraged to participate in aqua- aerobics, water-polo or beach volleyball by a highly motivated animator. The pool is the center of attraction during the day, with games and music setting the holiday tone. Guests can also enjoy a game of tennis or squash, a workout in the gym or relax with a variety of indoor games or a walk along the beach. The “Bluesz Bar” is the perfect spot for sunset cocktails, with music and a superb view of the ocean. The view can still be enjoyed over buffet dinner in the main restaurant or in the à la carte fine dining restaurant. Evenings are never dull at the Golden Sun Resort. The programme varies every day, with events such as bingo, live music, puppet shows, ballet performances and snake shows.
